Clear terms, in plain English.
These terms govern your use of Voxa, including free translations, Google Play subscriptions and the contextual voice bubble.
Accepting these terms
By installing, accessing or using Voxa, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or have permission from a parent or lawful guardian.
What Voxa provides
Voxa converts a speech transcript in a supported language into natural English. Its Android accessibility service can display a contextual bubble while an editable field and keyboard are active. Voxa shows the result in its own panel; you decide whether to copy and paste it into another app.
Accounts
Voxa may be used in guest mode, where free usage and an eligible Play subscription are remembered on that device. Signing in with Google associates usage and entitlement with the verified account so access can be restored more reliably after reinstalling or changing phones. You are responsible for protecting access to your account and device. You may not sell, transfer or share subscription access in a way that bypasses Google Play or Voxa's account controls.
Free use and subscriptions
Each eligible Voxa account receives 10 successful translations free. After the free allowance is used, continued translation requires an active subscription.
Subscriptions are offered through Google Play and normally renew automatically until cancelled. The final price, currency, taxes, trial terms if any, billing period and renewal date shown in the Google Play purchase screen control your purchase. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not normally refund the current billing period. Refunds are handled under Google Play policy and applicable law.
Translation accuracy
Speech recognition and AI translation can make mistakes, especially with noise, names, dialects, mixed languages, numbers or incomplete sentences. You must review every result before copying or sending it. Do not rely on Voxa for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other high-risk communications.
Acceptable use
You must not use Voxa to:
- Break the law, threaten, harass, defraud or harm another person.
- Create or distribute malware, spam or deceptive content.
- Attempt to bypass free-use limits, subscription checks or security controls.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the service except where law permits.
- Use another person's Google account or purchase without authorization.
Permissions and third-party services
Voxa needs microphone and accessibility access for its core features. You may withdraw these permissions, but related features will stop working. Google sign-in, device speech recognition, Google Play Billing, hosting and AI translation depend on third-party services governed by their own terms. Availability can be affected by those providers, your device, network or Android version.
Ownership
Copyright in Voxa's original software, logo, interface, written content and original visual assets belongs to the developer, subject to any rights held by third-party licensors. Open-source software, fonts, platform components and provider marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their applicable licences or terms. The Licences and notices page identifies the principal components. No registered-trademark status is claimed unless a registered symbol is expressly shown. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Voxa for its intended purpose. You retain responsibility for the messages you speak, copy and send.
Suspension and changes
Access may be limited or suspended when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, automated abuse, unauthorized purchase sharing, attacks on the service, a legal requirement or a material risk to users. Where practical, the developer will use a proportionate response and allow a user to contact the support address shown on the Google Play listing to request review. Voxa's features, supported languages and prices may change. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
Disclaimers and liability
Voxa is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. The developer is not responsible for a message you send without reviewing, indirect losses, or interruptions outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Questions about these terms can be sent through the developer contact shown on Voxa's Google Play listing.
